Yogi observed the entire Maha Kumbh from a helicopter: He visited stalls to see ODOP products and held a meeting with officials regarding security for Makar Sankranti.

Today is the 7th day of the Maha Kumbh. CM Yogi also arrived and took an aerial survey of the Maha Kumbh Mela area from a helicopter. Afterward, he held a meeting with officials.

During this, CM Yogi issued instructions to improve crowd management and communication systems in the Maha Kumbh Mela area for the upcoming Republic Day, Makar Sankranti, and Vasant Panchami. He emphasized the need for robust security arrangements during the Amrit Snan on Makar Sankranti and Vasant Panchami.

In terms of crowd management, he instructed that the pontoon bridge be made one-way on these special days. The Chief Minister also directed that the entire Mela area be declared a “No Vehicle Zone” on Makar Sankranti and Vasant Panchami.

Additionally, CM Yogi directed all officials to ensure that the faith of the devotees is fully respected. He urged that anyone in need of assistance should receive help from the personnel involved in the arrangements.

Yogi also visited the ODOP stalls in the Maha Kumbh Mela area. When the stall operator explained about the fragrant rice, Yogi was seen smelling its fragrance.
