Maha Kumbh Mela Updates: Dressed in a saffron-colored jacket, blue track pants, and a Rudraksha chain around his neck, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a sacred dip at the Triveni Sangam on Wednesday and offered prayers to Goddess Ganga. By noon, he was among nearly 55 lakh devotees who participated in the holy dip at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

After landing at Prayagraj airport around 10 am, PM Modi proceeded to Arail Ghat and then traveled by boat to the Sangam Nose, the land strip where the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati converge, alongside Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Later, PM Modi entered the water alone, took a dip at the Sangam, and chanted mantras.

“Blessed to be at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The Snan at the Sangam is a moment of divine connection, and like the crores of others who have taken part in it, I too was filled with a spirit of devotion. May Maa Ganga bless all with peace, wisdom, good health, and harmony,” PM Modi shared on X, shortly after his holy dip.
